Mr.P.Selvi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

2. With the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate for the respondent, this writ petition is being disposed of at the time of admission.

3. The petitioner is before this court against the impugned Assessment Order in FORM GST DRC 07 bearing reference No.ZD331223057218N dated 09.12.2023 for the financial year 2019-2020, whereby, the demand proposed in the Show Cause Notice DRC 01 dated 07.11.2023 has been confirmed. The impugned demand has been confirmed in the light of the reply of the petitioner dated 27.11.2023, wherein, the petitioner has admitted the tax liability. The contents of the reply dated 27.11.2023 is reproduced hereunder:- 2/6

2.We are not in the business of Construction of residential building, we are in the business of WORKS CONTRACTS and doing only Factory sheds for Corporates. Hence we change and remit 18% of GST.
