Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to measure the petitioner property in S.F.No.447/6 at Puthur Agraharam Village, Salem Taluk, as per challan dated 03.10.2020 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has approached the first respondent with his representation dated 03.10.2020 to measure his property and to fix boundary in S.No.447 of 2006 at Puthur Agraharam Village in Salem Taluk, and necessary charges too have been paid by him. But till date, no action was action was taken. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent, and made a statement on instruction that the enquiry for the purpose is scheduled to take place at 11.00 a.m, on 16.04.2021 in the office of the Tahsildar, Salem West Taluk / first respondent herein. The said statement is recorded.

In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the Tahsildar, Salem West Taluk, is directed to hold an enquiry after issuing notices to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the said representation through a speaking order within a period of twelve (12) weeks ( after the conclusion of the General Election-2021 of the Tamil Nadu State Legislative Assembly ) from 16.04.2021.
