The civil revision petition is filed to direct the Family Court, Puducherry to dispose of MOP.No. 418 of 2020 on its file within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner would submit that he married the respondent on 24.08.2015. Thereafter due to difference of opinion the parties separated and the petitioner filed MOP.No.418 of 2020 on the file of the Family Court, Puducherry, seeking divorce. In the said case, the respondent entered appearance and thereafter for several hearing the respondent did not appear before the Court. Therefore, the Family Court, Puducherry by an order dated 07.12.2024 was pleased to pass an ex parte order. Thereafter, the respondent herein had filed IA.No.31 of 2025 for setting aside the ex parte order.

3. The petitioner would submit that though he has filed a counter in IA.No.31 of 2025 which has been filed by the respondent herein for setting aside ex parte order, he has no objection to the petition being 2/5

allowed. Therefore, IA.No.31 of 2025 shall be allowed and the matter in MOP.No.418 of 2020 shall be posted for hearing.

4. It is informed that though MOP.No.418 of 2020 has been filed as early as in the year 2020, a counter has not been filed by the respondent.

5. In view of the above, the learned Family Judge, Puducherry is directed to dispose of MOP.No.418 of 2020 within a period of 6 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
