J U D G M E N T

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant made a submission that the parties to the appeal suit have been arrived a settlement in respect of the disputes raised.

2. The learned counsel for the appellant further informed that in the presence of the parties before the Lok Adalat, full settlement was arrived and terms were reduced in the form of memo of compromise and an award was also passed.

3. In view of the fact that the matter has been settled before the Lok Adalat, the appeal suit in A.S.No.434 of 2018 stands disposed of as settled out of Court. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Since the matter was settled out of Court through Lok Adalat, the appellant is entitled for refund of full Court fee under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court Fee and Suit Valuation Act, 1955. Thus the Registry, High Court of Madras is directed to refund the Court fee without any undue delay.
