This application has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 489 days in filing the written statement.

2. Having regard to the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition and being satisfied with the same, the delay is condoned and this application is accordingly, ordered.

3.It is submitted by both sides, that the suit may be posted before mediation to arrive at an amicable settlement between the parties.

4.Hence, the Registry is directed to post the main suit before Tamilnadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court, Madras on 22.03.2024 and both the parties are directed to appear before the Mediation Centre on 22.03.2024.
