2.The case is arising out of Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act for compounding the offence. 3.The accused has already paid a sum of Rs.1,00,000/-. Today, he paid another sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) by way Demand Draft dated 08.03.2017 drawn on Indian Overseas Bank, Porur Branch. A copy of the Demand Draft is also produced before this Forum.

4.Today, a compounding petition under Section 147 of Negotiable Instrument Act has been filed by both the parties, in which, both the revision petitioner and the respondent and their respective counsel have signed and the same is taken on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. In view of the payment made by the respondent in full quit the offence under Section 147 of the Negotiable Instrument Act is compounded and the revision petition is allowed. The revision petitioner is acquitted from offence under Section 147 of the Negotiable Instrument Act and set at liberty.
