This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 1st respondent to provide Police Protection to the Bailiff to execute the Warrant of Possession for effecting physical delivery of the Petition premises to the Petitioners / Decree Holders subject matter of Judgment and Decree dated 23.12.2014 in RCOP No.1820 of 2012 on the file of the Learned XIII Small Causes Court, Chennai by considering the Representation of the Petitioners dated 29.02.2024. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st respondent. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for 1st respondent submitted that the representation made by the petitioners is not available with the 1st respondent. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that if fresh representation is made by the petitioners, the same will be enquired and a decision will be taken with regard to providing police protection.

4.Considering the submissions made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the petitioners to give a fresh representation to the 1st respondent. The 1st respondent, on receipt of the same, shall conduct an enquiry by issuing notice to all the interested parties and shall take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks. 5.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
