This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus forbearing the respondents from digging a channel in the patta land belonging to the petitioner in survey No.88/7E to the extent of 14 cents. 2.Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents. 3.The apprehension of the petitioner is that an attempt is being made by the respondents to dig a channel in the patta land belonging to the petitioner. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that no such attempt is being made by the respondents and if at all any such channel is to be dug in the property, the property will be acquired in the manner known to law and thereafter, the work will be carried out.
