[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] This petition has been filed seeking to punish the respondent herein for willfully and wantonly disobeying the order of this Court dated 11.12.2020 passed in W.P.No.18076 of 2020.

2. While disposing of W.P.No.18076 of 2020 on 11.12.2020, this Court issued the following directions :

'5.Though the petitioner prays for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, either in his representation or in this Writ Petition, permits the petitioner to submit a representation by enclosing authenticated documents, along with photographs within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order / uploading of order in the website, to the Tahsildar, Athur, who upon receipt of the same, shall consider and dispose of the same in accordance with law, after putting on notice the 5th respondent and complete the said exercise within a period of eight weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the 5th respondent."

Alleging breach of the aforesaid order, the petitioner has filed the present contempt petition.

3. Today, Mr.S.Murugesan, Village Administrative Officer, Arasanatham Village, Athur, is present.

4. Heard Mr.Mr.K.Selvaraj, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.John J.Raja Singh, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondent.

5. Mr.S.John J.Raja Singh, learned Additional Government Pleader, submitted that pursuant to the aforesaid order of this Court, the Tahsildar, Athur (respondent herein), has passed a detailed order dated 26.11.2021, a copy of which has been marked to the petitioner. However, we furnished a 2/3

copy of the same to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar together with adangal extracts, village map and the map prepared by the surveyor highlighting the places.

6. From the above, we are of the view that the respondent has complied with the order dated 11.12.2020 that has been passed by this Court in W.P.No.18076 of 2020. If the petitioner is still aggrieved, it is open to him to work out his remedies in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
