Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 09.02.2012 given by the petitioner.

For Petitioner : No appearance For Respondents : Mr.K.SathishKumar, Standing Counsel

O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 09.02.2012 given by the petitioner.

2. The petitioner was an employee of the respondent TASMAC against whom, it seems disciplinary action was taken and he was suspended or removed from service and in order to reinstate him, he made a representation on 09.02.2012 to the respondent, which was not considered. Hence, he filed this writ petition.

3. When the case is called, there is no representation for the petitioner. However, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, on instructions, would submit that, subsequently the very same petitioner has filed another writ petition in W.P.No.5344 of 2020, where similar direction was asked for to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.02.2020 to reinstate him.

4. The said writ petition was disposed of on 15.12.2020, wherein it has been recorded that, the petitioner had given a letter to the Registry to withdraw the writ petition, as he accomplished the prayer ie., reinstatement. Accordingly, the said writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn. Therefore, culling out the aforesaid facts, the learned Standing Counsel submits that, nothing survives in this writ petition as in the subsequent writ petition it has been recorded that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner has been reinstated and accordingly he had also withdrawn the second writ petition as stated above.

5. Recording the aforesaid development as stated by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent, this writ petition is dismissed as nothing survives in this writ petition. No costs.
