This Court is satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this application as sufficient cause has been shown by the defendants for condoning the delay. Eventhough, the learned counsel for the plaintiff seeks time to file counter, this Court, after giving due consideration to the affidavit filed in support of this application, is of the considered view that since sufficient cause has been shown, there is no necessity for the respondent / plaintiff to file a counter. Accordingly, this application is allowed as prayed for and the written statement filed by the defendants is taken on record.
