Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondent to produce the body of the petitioner's wife M.Mala Mariam, aged 50 years before this Honorable Court. For Petitioner :

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J.] Petitioner, who is the husband of detenue viz., M.Mala Mariam, aged 50 years, seeks production of his wife.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for first respondent and learned counsel for second respondent.

Though in the normal course, this Court would not implead the party, whose production is sought by way of Habeas Corpus Petition, as a party respondent, we are informed by Mr.S.Raghunathan, learned counsel, that he wishes to enter appearance on behalf of M.Mala Mariam, the detenue herein and accordingly, we have impleaded M.Mala Mariam, as second respondent and presently counsel has entered appearance. He has now filed a Memo on behalf of second respondent herein/wife of the petitioner, which indicates that she has left the matrimonial home on her own accord.

4. In the circumstance, this Habeas Corpus Petition shall stand closed.
