ORDER

This Court while disposing of the writ petition in W.P.No.30551 of 2013 by order dated 05.02.2016, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner in respect of prohibiting the movement of all kinds of heavy vehicles in the streets mentioned in the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ affidavit and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.

2.The present contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the said order passed by this Court.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, it is represented by the learned Government Advocate submitted that the order passed by this Court has been complied with by the respondent. She has also produced a copy of the proceedings dated 12.09.2016 issued by the respondent rejecting the request of the petitioner. 4.Since the order of this Court has been complied with, nothing survives in this contempt petition and accordingly, the same is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the order of the respondent in the manner known to law, if they so desire.
