This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent with regard to issuance of Patta bearing S.No.36/1 extent 38 cents situated at Kadambur Village, Vandalur Taluk, Chengalpet District, by considering the representation dated 10.03.2022.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that based upon the order of this Court dated 01.04.2022, the Tahsildar considered the application of the petitioner for issuance of Patta and rejected the same on 13.04.2022, on the ground that the land of the petitioner in S.No.36/1 was classified as "Punjai Anadheenam". https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Government Advocate that the application of the petitioner was rejected by the Tahsildar, no further orders are necessary in the Writ Petition. However, liberty granted to the petitioner to work out the remedy in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. No Costs.
