Application in A.No.1513 of 2023 is filed by the applicant/plaintiff seeking amendment of the plaint.

2. According to the petitioner/plaintiff, in the plaint certain figures mentioned in paragraph No.9 are wrongly mentioned by over sight. By virtue of this amendment the applicant wants to amend the amount mentioned in Serial No.5 of the tabular column of paragraph No.9 of the plaint as Rs.50,000/- instead of Rs.5,00,000/-. As a consequence, he wants to amend the total figures as Rs.7,07,000/- instead of Rs.11,57,000/-. It is asserted by the applicant that the mistake in the amount mentioned in paragraph No.9 had crept inadvertently due to the typographical error.

3. In view of the assertion made by the plaintiff that the incorrect figure mentioned in paragraph No.9 is only due to typographical error, this Court is inclined to allow this application. Accordingly, this application is allowed.
