[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant ordinary leave for one month "without escort" to the petitioner's husband viz. Murthi (Convict No.18568), who is detained in Central Prison, Coimbatore. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, the leave application dated 09.12.2020, that was given on behalf of the detenu was considered by the authorities and was rejected, by order dated 18.12.2020 in letter No.19712 of 2020.

4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
