This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to give Police protection to construct the petitioner compound wall in Survey No.318/2B, 318/1C, 318/1D Anchetty Village, Krishnagiri District and also protect the petitioner life and limb of the property.

2. Heard Mr.K.Sathiya Singh, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 & 2.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents 1 & 2 submitted that on the representation of the petitioner, no current paper or CSR has been assigned till date and a decision will be taken on the petitioner's representation dated 29.02.2024 at the earliest.

4. In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 29.02.2024 within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
