ORDER

In and by the order of this court made in WP.Nos.972 and 973 of 2016 dated 11.1.2016, the Respondent herein was directed to dispose of the appeals of the Petitioner dated 3.5.2014 and since the said order was not complied within the stipulated time, these contempt petitions have been filed by the petitioner.

2. The learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the Respondent, has filed a letter dated 29.07.2016,

stating that the delay in disposing of the appeals had occurred due to the concurrence of TNPSC to be obtained and consultation to be held with P&AR Department and further submitted that the said order of this court made in WP.Nos.972 and 973 of 2016 dated 11.1.2016 will be complied within six weeks. Recording the same, the Respondent is directed to comply with the order of this court made in WP.Nos.972 and 973 of 2016 dated 11.1.2016 within a period of six weeks. Accordingly, these contempt petitions are closed. No costs.
