This application has been filed under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 and Section 151 C.P.C., seeking to change the fixation of the venue of Arbitration from Puducherry to Chennai, as ordered by this Court vide order dated 03.02.2017 made in O.P.No.703 of 2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties on either side.

3. Mr.Rajaraman, learned counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that prima facie he has no objection for change of the venue of Arbitration. However, the change in venue should not be cited as a reason to delay the transmission of documents/recorded as may be required by the Arbitrator.

4. Recording the statement of the learned counsel for the applicant to the effect that all the documents called for would be produced subject to intimation in advance, this petition is ordered, granting re-fixation of venue of Arbitration in Chennai instead of Puducherry.
