ORDER

Challenging the order of the 1st respondent dated 04.07.2022 rejecting the request of the petitioner for sanctioning of family pension, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Heard both sides.

3. It is submitted by the learned Special Government Pleader that pursuant to the directions of this Court issued on 13.07.2022, the 1st respondent sent a fresh proposal on 09.08.2022, which has been received by the office of the Accountant General.

4. The learned standing counsel for the 3rd respondent, on instructions, submitted that proposal received from the 1st respondent would be considered and appropriate orders sanctioning the family pension to the petitioner would be passed within a reasonable time. The said statement is recorded.

5. In view of the above developments, the 3rd respondent is directed to process the proposal sent by the 1st respondent and accord sanction for the

family pension as per rules within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly with the above direction. No cost.
