Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to depute the 3rd respondent to measure and survey my land in S.No.627/4A1B to an extent of 20 cents in Azhiyur Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District by considering my representation dated 16.10.2017.

Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and by consent of the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to depute the 3rd respondent to measure and survey my land in S.No.627/4A1B to an extent of 20 cents in Azhiyur Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District by considering my representation dated 16.10.2017.

4. The grievance of the petitioner before this Court is that the said representation has not been considered so far. This Court, at this stage, is not expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the 1st respondent to consider and decide the same. Thus, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.10.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the 1st respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
