Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.287/2017 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to suspend the sentence imposed in S.C.No.126/2016 dated 16.02.2017 on the file of the learned III Additional District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore and enlarge the petitioner/appellant on bail pending disposal of the Crl.A.287/2017.
Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in Crl.A.No.287/2017 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.T.SUNDARAVADANAM, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR. R. RAVICHANDRAN, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner/appellant seeks permission of this court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement in the petition to that effect. The learned counsel also prayed for expeditious disposal of the appeal, considering the fact that the appellant is aged 22 years.
2. The court heard the submission of Mr.R.Ravichandran, learned Government Advocate (crl side).
3. In the light of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
4. The Registry is directed to summon the records and make ready the typed set of documents and list the appeal for final disposal, as per seriotum.
