ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent not to harass the petitioners under the guise of enquiry.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is doing business for the past few years in the name and style of M/s.Aram Tech Enterprises. He is doing his business as per law and all his transactions are fully legal and fully bank transfer only. The learned counsel would further submit that one Pandi Muneeswaran is one of his customers in his business. Due to some money transaction, the petitioner issued a cheque dated 07.08.2019 No.000009 HDFC Bank, Valasaravakkam Branch to the said Pandi Muneeswaran on 07.02.2019 and the same was accepted by him. To his surprise, the 2nd respondent police is calling the petitioner and threatening him to settle the matter. The petitioner has also made a detailed representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

to the 1st respondent on 04.03.2019 even then the petitioner is receiving phone calls from the 2nd respondent. The petitioner is ready to appear before the respondent any time if he summoned as per law. Hence, this petition.

3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

4.It is seen from the records that due to money dispute, the complaint is pending before the 2nd respondent. The petitioner has also sent a detailed representation to the 1st respondent on 04.03.2019. Hence, the 2nd respondent is hereby directed to consider the same and conduct enquiry on the detailed representation dated 04.03.2019 sent to the 1st respondent with the petitioner and the counter part and pass orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
