ORDER

Heard Mr.Karthik Sundaram, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Krishna Ravindran, learned counsel for the respondents. 2.

It is stated by learned counsel for the respondents that Writ Appeal has been filed as against the order dated 22.03.2022. Though there is no interim stay, there are two significant developments (i) the contempt petitioner has orally undertaken before the Division Bench not to press this contempt petition and (ii) the respondents state that they have confirmed even in their reply to legal notice that the bank guarantee would not be enforced / encashed. Mr.Krishna, reiterates the undertaking now before this Court and it is recorded.

In light of the aforesaid, I see no reason to keep this contempt petition pending any longer as the lis between the parties will be decided by the Division Bench.

This contempt petition stands closed. Consequently, connected sub applications are also closed.
