Office Orders reverting them to the post of Assistant Sub-Inspectors and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to allow the petitioners to continue to work in the post of Sub-Inspector until their next promotion.

When the matter is taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioners, on instructions from his clients, submits that the petitioners are not interested in pursuing the matter.

2. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court has no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non-prosecution. Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the Writ Petition is dismissed for nonprosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
