ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the third respondent to take action against respondents 4 to 6 based on the petitioner's representation/complaint dated 01.08.2025.

2. The case of the petitioner is that, being one among the 15 chit auction bidders, he had paid a substantial sum to one Prema on the advice of one Kumar. When Prema was required to return the amount to the petitioner, she kept seeking time repeatedly and thereafter, allegedly abused him. Hence, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 01.08.2025, followed by another complaint on 10.03.2025. Since no progress was made, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that both complaints were enquired into, and the petitioner appeared before the respondent police on 06.09.2025 and gave a letter stating that no further action was required.

4. The contention of the petitioner now is that he is willing to produce materials to substantiate his claim that Prema and Kumar had received the amount from him.

5. In view of the above submissions, the petitioner is directed to produce the materials to substantiate his claim before the Ponneri Police Station. The respondent police shall consider the same, and if a cognizable offence is made out, appropriate action shall be taken in accordance with law. 6.With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
