PRAYER: Criminal Original Petitions filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for the records and quash the FIR registered in Crime No.45 of 2021, dated 02.02.2021 for the offence punishable under Section 294(b) and 352 of IPC, on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER
This petition is filed to call for the records in Crime No.45 of 2021 on the file of the respondent Police and to quash the same.
2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent submitted that the investigation in this case is over and final report has been filed. The case has been taken cognizance of in S.T.C.No.29 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Virudhachalam.
3. In view of the fact that investigation had been completed and a final report was filed and that the case was taken cognizance of in S.T.C.No.29 of 2022, this Criminal Original https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Petition is dismissed.
4.Considering the nature of offence, this Court is of the view that there is a possibility of settlement and hence, if the matter is referred to Mediation. Therefore, the trial Court is directed to refer the matter to Mediation and proceed with the matter on the basis of the Mediation Report. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
