The present Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.27793 of 2005 dated 08.04.2014.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Kumaresan, learned Additional Advocate General Assisted by Mr.R.Neethi Perumal, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for consideration, Mr.P.Kumaresan, learned Additional Advocate General Assisted by Mr.R.Neethi Perumal, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent submitted that the above said order of this Court had been complied with by the respondent herein. In proof of which, a copy of the Government Order G.O.(D).No.439, Home (Police - III) Department, dated 24.04.2023 has been produced before this Court after duly serving it on the learned counsel for the petitioner. This Court had also gone through the same.

4. Since the said order of this Court had been complied with by the respondent, nothing further survives for consideration in this Contempt Petition, which is accordingly closed. No costs. Consequently connected sub application is also closed.
