O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.) Pursuant to the direction by this Court dated 29.03.2023, the learned Administrator General and Official Trustee of Tamil Nadu ("AG & OT" for brevity) is present today. He has produced a cheque dated 05.04.2023 before this Court drawn in favour of T.Pachaiyappan, the petitioner in the Contempt Petition, for a sum of Rs.50,00,000/-. The cheque dated 05.04.2023 is handed over to the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner. The Status Report filed by the learned AG & OT reveals that the non-compliance of the direction of this Court is not willfull. We are convinced with the reasons stated in the report. 2.The payment of the cheque is acknowledged by receiving the same by the petitioner. Since the closure of this

Contempt Petition will not prejudice the rights of petitioner as well as the respondent in respect of other claims, recording compliance, this Contempt Petition is closed. Consequently, C.M.P.No.5412 of 2019 in O.S.A.No.161 of 2013 is also closed.
