(The case has been heard through video conference) The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 of IPC R/W Section 5 of Tamil Nadu Protection of Interest of Depositors (in Financial Establishment Act, 1997), in Crime No.6 of 2019 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the petitioner was already arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
