The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the second respondent to dispose of the appeals dated 23.01.2025 preferred by the petitioner against the orders dated 25.11.2024 and 28.11.2024.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner joined the service on 27.01.2010 as a Junior Co-operative Auditor and subsequently, she was promoted as a Senior Co-operative Auditor in the year 2013, and thereafter, she was promoted as a Co-operative Audit Officer. He would further submit that on account of not submitting the audit report in time, she was served with a charge memorandum, and after due enquiry, the disciplinary authority passed final orders on 25.11.2024 and 28.11.2024. 2/5
Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred appeals on 23.01.2025 before the second respondent, and such appeals are yet to be considered by the second respondent. Hence, he prayed to issue a direction to them for early disposal.
3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent would submit that they would dispose of the said appeals within a reasonable time.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeals dated 23.01.2025 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
