Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying this Court to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to permit the Petitioner to attend the forthcoming promotion counselling to be called for by the Respondents for the post of Associate Professor (Neuro Surgery) and consequently promote the Petitioner to the Post of Associate Professor (Neuro-Surgery) as per eligibility and seniority as per CML No.8382/2005.

ORDER
When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondent submitted that though the writ petition was filed by the petitioner, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to attend the forthcoming promotion counseling to be called for by the respondents for the post of Associate Professor (Neuro Surgery) and consequently promote the petitioner to the post of Associate Professor (Neuro-Surgery) as per eligibility and seniority as per CML No.8382/2005, at the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
time of entertaining the writ petition, this Court had granted an interim order of stay on 29.11.2013 which enabled the petitioner to participate the promotion counseling called for by the Respondents for the post of Associate Professor (Neuro Surgery) and subsequently, the petitioner has also been promoted in the year 2013-14 itself.
2. In the light of the above, the interim order having already paved the way for the petitioner to realise the relief sought for, nothing survives for further adjudication in this case. Accordingly this writ petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
