PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records relating to petitioner's mother detention under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 vide detention order, dated 24.02.2020 on the file of the second respondent herein made in proceedings in C3.D.O.No.07/2020 and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondents herein to produce the said petitioner's mother namely Suriya Wife of Murugesan, aged 44 years before this Court and set the petitioner's mother at liberty from detention, now petitioner's mother detained at Special Prison for Women, Vellore. For Petitioner : Mr.C.C.Chellappan.

C3.D.O.No.07/2020 dated 24.02.2020 detaining his mother as "Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O. Rt. No.1889, Home, Prohibition ane Excise (IX) Department, dated 23.04.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
