ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- Apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for alleged offences punishable under sections 294(b), 324 and 506(ii) of IPC in Cr.No.95/2020, the petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that in a wordy quarrel, the petitioner along with other two accused assaulted the defacto complainant with stick and caused him simple injury. 3.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner herein has been arrayed as 3rd accused in this case and the accused 1 and 2 have already been arrested and subsequently, they were enlarged on bail. Therefore, the benefit of bail granted to the co-accused should also be extended to the petitioner also.

Having regard to the nature of the allegation levelled against the petitioner and more particularly, the fact that the co-accused have already been granted bail by this Court, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruthuraipoondi, on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police for interrogation as and when required. -sd/- 18/03/2020 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
