[ Respondents] PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondents to regularize the period between 22.7.2000 and 26.09.2000 as duty period with salary and also to award special grade scale of pay to the petitioner with effect from 26.04.2004 and also direct the Respondents to settle the pensionary benefits of the petitioner. O R D E R

Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. With the consent of both parties, the main writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondents to regularize the period of his service between 22.7.2000 and 26.09.2000 as duty period with salary and also to award special grade scale of pay with effect from 26.04.2004 and also to direct the respondents to settle the terminal benefits.

3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the writ petition may be disposed of by directing the 3rd respondent to pass orders on the proposal of the 4th respondent dated 21.01.2014 to the 3rd respondent relating to the issue involved in this writ petition, within a stipulated period, in the light of the Judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court reported in (2004) 1 Supreme Court Cases 43 (Union of India vs. Madhusudan Prasad).

4. In view of the limited prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the 3rd respondent is directed to pass orders on the proposal of the 4th respondent dated 21.01.2014, which is enclosed at page No.12 of the typed set of papers, in the light of the Judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court reported in (2004) 1 Supreme Court Cases 43 (Union of India vs. Madhusudan Prasad), within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
