ORDER

The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 303(2) of BNS, 2023 in Page No.1 of 4

Crime No.373 of 2024, seek anticipatory bail. 2.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners had stolen one number of RRU (Radio Remote Unit) worth about Rs.1,00,000/- from Airtel Company.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that the allegations are false; and that in any case, custodial interrogation is not required and sought for anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 4.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police, while opposing the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, reiterated the prosecution case and on instructions submitted that property has not been recovered; that the petitioners were involved in two other cases of a similar nature.

Considering the nature of allegations, the petitioners were involved in two other cases of a similar nature, the fact that the stolen articles are yet to be recovered, this Court is not inclined to grant Page No.2 of 4

anticipatory bail to the petitioners.
