[ Respondents in both Petitions ] PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass order on the representation made by the petitioner dated 24.7.2013 in the light of the recommendation of the 1st respondent dated 12.11.2014 forwarded by the 2nd respondent for the purpose of Transfer from Tamil Nadu State Police (TSP) to District Armed Reserve with all consequential service and monetary benefits For Petitioners :

O R D E R

Mr.S.Gunasekaran, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. With the consent of both parties, the main writ petitions are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

2. The petitioners have come forward with these writ petitions seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation made by them dated 24.7.2013 in the light of the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent dated https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

12.11.2014 to the 1st respondent for the purpose of Transfer from Tamil Nadu State Police (TSP) to District Armed Reserve, with all consequential service and monetary benefits.

3. The petitioners sought transfer from the Tamil Nadu State Police (TSP) to District Armed Reserve. The 2nd respondent in the proceedings dated 12.11.2014, recommended to the 1st respondent to transfer the petitioners to Armed Reserve. The petitioners earlier representations dated 24.07.2013 in this regard are not disposed of till date.

4. In view of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioners dated 24.07.2013, on merits and in accordance with law and in the light of the recommendation made by the 2nd respondent dated 12.11.2014 referred to above, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
