O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondent to provide police protection to the petitoner's lands in Survey No.75/1C2 of Murhuruttu Village, Vembagoundapudur, Rasipuram Taluka, Namakkal District to enable the revenue authorities to carryout/conduct the survey of the petitioners lands above without any hindrance whatsoever from anybody including the 3rd respondent.

2. Heard Mr.K.A.Mariappan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 and 2.

3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner is not available with the respondents. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that if fresh representation is made by the petitioner, the same will be enquired and a decision will be taken with regard to providing police protection.

4. Considering the submissions made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the 2nd respondent. The 2nd respondent, on receipt of the same, 2/4

shall conduct an enquiry by issuing notice to all the interested parties and shall take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks.
