The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider his representation dated 15.12.2016 for cancellation of patta No. 1264 in RPT No. 4186/81 fasali no. 91, comprised in Survey No. 1158/1-A1 at Madavaram Village, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District, measuring an extent of 0.08 cents out of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
0.14 cents illegally issued in the name of Patturosammal and subsequent purchaser, the 4th respondent herein.
2. Mr. A.N. Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the remedy open to the petitioner is to cancel the patta by way of an appeal before the 2nd respondent.
3. In view of the submissions made by the Special Government Pleader, I give liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal as against the order passed by the 3rd respondent before the 2nd respondent and in the event of the petitioner filing an appeal before the 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same, on merits and in accordance with law. 4.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
