This writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to provide
necessary police protection to the petitioner's land comprised in S.No.539/3 and another extent of 1.11 acre in S.No.539/4A, Pichavakkam Village, Sriperumbudur Taluk on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2024. 2.Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent police submitted that the representation made by the petitioner is not available with the respondents. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that if fresh representation is made by the petitioner, the same will be enquired and a decision will be taken with regard to providing police protection. 4.
Considering the submissions made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the 1st respondent. The 1st respondent, on receipt of the same, shall conduct an enquiry by issuing notice to all the interested parties and in line with the judgment of this Court in S.A.No.343 and 344 of 1988 dated 28.04.2000 and take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks.
