This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 2 and 3 to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 18.12.2024 wherein the petitioner is seeking for rectification of the mistake that has crept in the FMB sketch.
2. Heard Mr.A.Rajakumar, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 1 to 3.
3. The petitioner is claiming right and title over the subject property through a registered settlement deed dated 22.02.2000, which was executed in favour of the petitioner's husband. The patta also stood in his name in patta No.1166. After the demise of the petitioner's husband, the petitioner found that there is a mistake in the new FMB sketch and that it did not show the existence of cart track. Hence, the representation was made to the respondents to carry out necessary corrections in the FMB sketch. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the 2/4
case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner on 18.12.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
