The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2013 for issuing ration card and pass appropriate orders on merits.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said representation is yet to be disposed of by the respondent. However, the learned counsel submitted that it would suffice, if the representation dated 17.12.2013 made by the petitioner is directed to be considered by the respondent, on merits.

3. Mr.J.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, submitted that nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Be that as it may, having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 17.12.2013 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
