PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to complete the process of certificate verification for the petitioner within a time frame fixed by this Court and issue orders of appointment to the petitioner to the post of Village Administrative Officer forthwith. ORDER

The present Writ Petition is heard today through Video Conferencing today.

2. The prayer in the present Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to complete the process of certificate verification to the post of Village Administrative Officers for the recruitment held in the year 2010 has become infructuous, since the certificate verification was already completed. The completion of the certificate verification is ratified by the learned Standing counsel for the respondent. As such, no effective orders can be passed in the present Writ Petition. The Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no orders as to costs.
