Respondents Common Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the impugned order dated 17.03.2014 of the 4th respondent herein in ROC No.1084 of 2014 and ROC No.1088 of 2014 and quash the same.

C O M M O N O R D E R The show cause notice issued by the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in respect of the suspension of practice of the writ petitioners is under challenge in these writ petitions. 2.The issues involved in these writ petitions are that the age restriction imposed by the Bar Council of India for the purpose of enrollment as well as for admission to law courses. 3.It is brought to the notice of this Court that the issues in this regard is now subjudice before the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in Writ petition(Civil) No.1023 of 2016. The Hon'ble Supreme Court of India passed the following orders: "Having heard learned counsel appearing for the parties, we direct that there shall be stay of the Notification No.BCI:D:1519(LE:Cir. -6) dated 17.9.2016, issued by the Bar Council of India and all consequential actions taken in pursuance thereof, pending decision of this writ petition.

List the matter in the third week of July, 2017, for final hearing.

In the meantime, all pleadings shall be complete and exchanged between the parties."

4.Thus, the further actions by the respondents in this regard shall be in accordance with the further orders to be passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the matter, which is pending.

5.In this view of the matter, no further adjudication needs to be entertained at this point of time in these writ petitions. Accordingly, these two writ petitions stand closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
