The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 3(2)(a), 4(1) and 5(1)(a) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956 in Crime No.7 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.It is stated that the respondent received information about an advertisement for immoral purpose. They contacted the petitioner over phone and obtained information. The investigation will have to be done with respect to how many victims had suffered earlier. It is also stated that one victim girl had been rescued.

3.Taking all the factors into consideration, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
