O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.03.2022 taking note of the fact that the petitioner's probation has been declared with effect from 31.05.2010.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it had been contended that the petitioner is now due to be promoted to the post of Block Development Officer. It is contended that his probation should have been declared on 31.05.2010 in the post of Junior Assistant. It is however contended that the probation had not been granted. In this connection, the petitioner had given a representation which seeks examination by this writ petition.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader contended that the proposal had been forwarded to the first respondent on 13.03.2024.

4. A mandamus is issued to the first respondent to examine the proposal forwarded on 13.03.2024 and pass appropriate orders after examining the Service Records of the petitioner. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 07.03.2025 dpq Index : Yes /No Speaking Order : Yes/No To
