The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide police protection to run the petitioner's Hotel in the name and style of Annapoorana Hotel, near Susuki Show Room, Krishnagiri By-pass road, Hosur, Krishnagiri District.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is running a hotel by the name and style of Annapoorana Hotel near Susuki Showroom, Krishnagiri By-

pass road, Hosur, Krishnagiri. The petitioner has also been issued with a necessary Food Safety and Standard Authority of India license by the Government of Tamilnadu. The petitioner's husband, for his other business, had borrowed an amount of Rs.25 lakhs from one Mohan, who is the husband of the 3rd respondent. The husband of the 3rd respondent is usurious money lender and he used to collect Rs.1,12,500/- per month (as daily Kanthuvatti) from the petitioner's husband. Apart from the payment of exorbitant interest, the said Mohan had also obtained Power of Attorney and original sale deed belonging to the petitioner's husband. While so, the said Mohan had passed away.

3. He would further submit that as of today, the petitioner's husband is not liable to pay any amount to the said Mohan. Whereas, after the death of Mohan, the Respondents 3 to 5, who are the wife, son and daughter-in-law of the said Mohan respectively, are continuously pressurizing the petitioner's family to pay exorbitant interest and they have also taken away Maruti Dzire Car from the petitioner and they are also preventing the petitioner from running the hotel business. Thereby, the petitioner had given a complaint seeking to give police protection. Since, no action has been taken by the respondent, the present petition has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

4. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that there seems to be money dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 5. He would further submit that due enquiry will be conducted by the respondent and if it is necessary, appropriate protection will be given to the petitioner.

5. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of .
