The petitioners have filed this Criminal Original Petition to call for the records relating to CC No.5103 of 2010 on the file of the XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai and quash the same.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that after due trial, the petitioners were acquitted from the charges, by judgment dated 03.10.2016 in CC No.5103 of 2010, by the learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Allikulam, Chennai. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence, recording the submission so made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
