Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to appoint a Committee headed by a retired High Court Judge to enquire into the violations committed against the Puducherry Old Age Persons and Destitute Pension Rules 2011 and to suggest remedial measures and to direct the respondents to implement the Rules in compliance with

the Puducherry Old Age Persons and Destitute Pension Rules 2011 and also to direct the 6th respondent to investigate into the offences arising out of the violations for prosecuting the offenders in accordance with law.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner states that there are some problems in the working of Puducherry Old Age Persons and Destitute Pension Rules, 2011, of which he has given some illustrations.

2.We are of the view that the Government of Puducherry may examine the material and find out if there are any working problems in the aforesaid Rules and if so found, would take appropriate action. The respondents should make an endeavour to complete the exercise within four (4) months from today.

3.Writ Petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2015 stands closed. Sd/- Asst. Registrar.
