..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2020 and to provide family pension to the petitioner from the date of death of the petitioner's husband L.Ponnusamy who was working as Driver (No.3050) in Thandarampattu Fire Station, Thiruvannamalai District as per the judgment of Madras High Court (Madurai Bench) dated 26.08.2020 in Case W.P.(MD) No.19997 of 2013.

3.Considering the limited prayer, a direction is given to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.12.2020 for family pension and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
